The way into the house: a studio at the window, with a fire at your back.
The smallest of the three and the least expensive — the room to take when the point of the trip is the quarter rather than the quarters. A fireplace runs along the wall facing the bed, a small kitchen takes the near corner, and a bar sits at the window with folding chairs, which is where most people end up: wine in hand, watching the quarter go about its evening.
Original stone shows on one wall and around the window reveal; the rest is kept plain and pale so the room feels larger than its footprint. Everything you need, nothing you have to walk around.
One honest note: the window faces the street, and the street has bars on it. Guests who came to be in the middle of things say so approvingly. Light sleepers should take one of the other two.
